At The Brilliance Lab, our mission is to empower emerging and mid-career professionals to unlock their full leadership potential, cultivate confidence, and navigate their careers with clarity and purpose. Through personalized one-to-one coaching and strategic guidance, we help individuals identify professional goals using a step-by-step method to determine any known obstacles, and then develop systems and strategies to move clients through, around or over those obstacles skillfully and realistically to achieve results! Our aim is to harness your unique brilliance, develop valuable and impactful skills, and create meaningful and realistic career trajectories for every client.

About Carol

Greetings! I’m Dr. Carol Hedgspeth, Founder and Principal of The Brilliance Lab. My goal is to provide coaching and support to early- and mid-career professionals eager to take their leadership skills to the next level.

In my career spanning 3 decades, which started in academia and continued to and through small and large nonprofit organizations, I have always been passionate about supporting young professionals in their leadership journeys. I have witnessed and experienced early- and mid- career professionals’ eagerness to do great and meaningful work with few or faulty strategies and tools to sustain their motivation, and know that coaching can make a pivotal positive impact. I’ve formally and informally coached many early- and mid-career professionals and emerging leaders across fields through various workplace and career challenges, including:
